| The Folsom High School cheerleaders pride themselves on three main principals:
amazing academic achievement, spectacular school spirit along with compassionate community contribution. These
are not just thoughts put down on paper, but they are ideals the team strives for each day with enthusiasm. "The
accomplishments of this Varsity cheerleading squad are varied and numerous," says Athletic Director Robert
Reed. "Their dedication to their academics, their sport, their community, and their responsibility of spirit
building is second to none." |
| Academics are a vital element to this team. They have four team members in
the top 20 percentile of their class, one being in the top five percentile. Nine squad members qualified for the
California Scholarship Federation, two are members of the National Honor Society, four are enrolled in Honors or
Advanced Placement classes, six are members of the student government, and two members were chosen as representatives
of the Golden State Spirit Association and will split scholarship money. |
